<br />, ' <br /> <br />. <br />. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />. <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />8 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />_. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MK:pO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-3 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA SELECTING NATIONAL HOUSING CONSULTANTS <br />AS DEVELOPERS FOR 200 NEW HOUSING UNITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana, <br />California, (hereinafter called the "Authority") with the <br />approval of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Develop- <br />ment, requested proposals from developers interested in <br />building, operating, and managing 200 units of new construction <br />specifically designed for the elderly, as well as entering into <br />a contract with the Authority concerning the making of housing <br />assistance payments on behalf of eligible low-income elderly <br />families leasing said units; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Authority received eight such proposals on <br />December 30, 1974, so that it could make an evaluation and <br />preliminary selection of the most acceptable proposal based <br />upon the specifications set forth in the proposal and the <br />guidelines issued by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Authority, on January 21, 1975, made a pre- <br />liminary selection of the proposal of National Housing Con- <br />sultants and submitted this proposal to the U.S. Department <br />of Housing and Urban Development for its review and approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Develop- <br />ment has reviewed and approved the proposal of National Housing <br />Consultants, and sent official notice of such review and approval to <br />the Authority on April 15, 1975; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of said official approval from the <br />U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Authority <br />wishes to officially select National Housing Consultants as the <br />developer for a 200 unit senior citizens housing project to be <br />located at 404-430 West First Street, Santa Ana, California to <br />be the subject of a contract by the Authority for the making of <br />Housing Assistance Payments on behalf of low-income elderly <br />families leasing these 200 units. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LOCAL AUTHORITY, as follows: <br /> <br />1. The Authority hereby selects the proposal of National <br />Housing Consultants to build, operate, and develop 200 new <br />housing units specifically designed for the elderly of which 200 <br />units are to be the subject of a contract by this Authority <br />for the making of Housing Assistance Payments on behalf of the <br />eligible low-income elderly families leasing such units. <br /> <br />2.
