I . . . . 8 . . , KG:adg 5/28/76 REaOLUTION NO. 76-5 RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF ~ECTION 23 HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS PROGRAM NEW CON- STRUCTION AG~ TO ENTER INTO HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS CONTRACT FOR PROJECT NO. CA-093-003 WHEREAS, National Housing Consultants, Inc. (herein called the "Owner") has previously submitted to the Housinq Authority of the City of Santa Ana (herein called the "LHA") a Proposal for the construction of 200 one-bedroom units specif- ically designed for the elderly, handicapped and disabled under Section 23 of the United States Housing Act of 1937, as amended, and WHEREAS, the LHA has previously notified Owner that its proposal has been approved by the United States of America, Departm8nt of Housing and Urban Development (herein called the "Government") for housing assistance under the Section 23 Hous- ing Assistance Payments Program - New Construction, and WHEREAS, the Government and the LHA have previously entered into a Section 23 Housing Assistance Payments Program Annual Contributions Contract, Part I for New Construction Project No. CA-093-003, dated May 25,'1976, and . WHEREAS, the Government has forwarded to the LHA for its consideration a propbsed form of Agreement To Enter Into Housing Assistance Payments Contract for Project No. CA-093-003, and ' WHEREAS, the LHA now proposes to enter into the Agree- ment in the fom provided by the Government: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The proposed contract, designated "Section 23 Housing Assistance Payments Program - New Construction Agree- ment '0 Enter Into Housing Assistance Payments Contract" for ~roject No. CA-093-003, pursuant to the United States Housing Act of 1937, as amended, is hereby approved and accepted both as to form and substance, and the Chairman is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Contract in four counterparts on behalf of the LHA and to forward one fully-executed counterpart to the Government tOgether with such other documents evidencing the approval and authorizing the execution thereof as may be required by the Government.
