PUBLIC HEARING - RATE ADJUSTMENT The public hearing of <br />FOR REFUSE COLLECTION the matter of rate <br /> adjustment for refuse <br /> collection was con- <br />tinued to the evening of September 15, 1975, on the unani- <br />mously (?-0) carried motion of Councilman Evans, seconded <br />by Councilman Ward. CA 11.4 <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS Mrs. Janice Boer, <br />PLANNING COMMISSION 912 North Lowell <br /> Street, asked why <br /> Commissioner Daniel <br />Griset had not been removed from the Planning Commission <br />following his "conviction of a felony, lowered to a misde- <br />eanor" in view of the fact chat it has been eight months <br />since he was indicted by the Grand Jury. <br /> <br />Mayor Garthe responded that Mr. Griset had not been convicted <br />of a felony. CA 78.1 <br /> <br />RECESS At 12:25 a.m., the <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor declared a <br /> recess for an Executive <br /> Session to consider a <br />legal matter. Council reconvened at 12:40 a.m., with all <br />members present. <br /> <br />LULAC LITIGATION Funds were appropriated <br /> and a Deputy City <br /> Attorney and a Per- <br /> sonnel Analyst from <br />the City Staff were authorized to travel to Boston for legal <br />conferences regarding the LULAC litigation, on the unanimously <br />approved (7-0) motion of Councilman Evans, seconded by Council- <br />man Brandt.
