A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY O~ SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SECTION 8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS PROGRAM ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT PART I FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECT NO. CA16-8023-054 PROVIDING FOR THE INCORPORATION OF SAID PART I INTO MASTER SECTION 8 ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT NO. SF-503 AND PROVIDING FOR A GENERAL DEPOSITARY AGREEMENT FOR FUNDS TO BE REQUISITIONED PURSUANT TO SAID CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A LETTER AGREEMENT TERMINATING SECTION 23 HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS PROGRAM MASTER ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT NO. SF-492 WHEREAS the HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA (herein called the "Housing Authority") has previouslý entered into a Section 8 Hous- ing ASsistance Payments Program Master Section 8 Annual Contributions Contract (herein called the "Contract") with the United States of Amefica (herein called the "Government"), and now proposes to (1) enter into an Annual Contributions Contract Part I for New Construction Project No. CA16-8023-054; and (2) to provide for the incorporation of said Part I in the Master Section 8 Annual Contributions Contract; (3) to provide for the deposit of monies pursuant to a General Depositary Agreement with a financial institution which is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (herein called the "Bank"); and (4) enter into a Letter Agreement with the Government terminating Section 23 HAPP Annual Contributions Contract No. SF-492; all with respect to any "Project", as defined in the Contract, which at any time, now or hereafter, is incorporated under the terms of the Contract. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The proposed Contract, designated "Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments Program Annual Contributions Contract, Part I, New Construction Project No. CA16-8023-054", pursuant to the United States Housing Act of 1937, as amended, is hereby approved and accepted both as to form and substance, and the Chairman is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Contract in three counterparts on behalf of the Housing Authority and to forward such executed counterparts to the Government, together with such other documents evidencing the approval and authoriz- ing the execution thereof as may be required by the Government. Section 2. as approved into Master The Annual Contributions Contract, Part I, New Construction, and accepted in Section 1 hereinabove, is hereby incorporated Section 8 Annual Contributions Contract No. SF-S03. Section 4. The Chairman, Vice-Chairman or Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to file with the Government from time to time as payments are required, requisitions together with the necessary supporting documents requesting periodic payments to be made on account of the Annual Contributions Contract, and the proper officers of the Housing Authority shall prepare, execute and deliver to the Government said requisitions ..in a form prescribed by the Government and shall accept payment therefor from the Government and such persons are authorized 4B ,;.- ..."~.~Ü',.....,... ,,,.....
