MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />September 15, 1975 <br /> <br />The Regular Meeting of the City Council was called to order <br />at 2:20 P.M. by Mayor John Garthe, in the Council Chambers, <br />22 Civic Center Plaza, with the following Council members <br />present: David L. Brandt, Gordon Bricken, Vernon S. Evans, <br />David F. Ortiz, James E. Ward, Harry K. Yamamoto, and Mayor <br />John Garthe. Also present were Captain Charles Thayer of <br />the Santa Ana Police Department, Director of Finance Lawrence <br />Shaffer, Purchasing and Property Control Officer Don Ramsey, <br />Director of Public Works Ronald E. Wolford, Director of Plan- <br />ning Charles C. Zimmerman, Executive Director of the Redevelop- <br />ment Agency Richard Goblirsch, Assistant to the City Manager <br />Manuel Rede, Assistant City Manager Thomas J. Andrusky, City <br />Attorney Keith L. Gow, City Manager Bruce Spragg, and Clerk <br />of the Council Florence I. Malone. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />man Yamamoto. <br /> <br />Following the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the <br />Flag, the Invocation <br />was given by Council- <br /> CA 80.17 <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR The following Agenda <br /> items were removed <br /> from the Consent Cal- <br /> endar: Items 4B and <br />7A requested by Councilman Yamamoto; Item 9D requested by <br />Councilman Ward; and Item 9B requested by Mayor Garthe.
