<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />EJC:adg <br />10/5/79 <br />11/26/79 <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />(Rev. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-þ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ACCEPTING A <br />DELEGATION OF FUNCTIONS, AUTHORIZING <br />THE INCURRING OF AN INDEBTEDNESS AND <br />THE EXECUTION OF A LOAN AGREEMENT, <br />PROMISSORY NOTE, AND OTHER DOCUMENTS TO <br />SECURE A DEFERRED PAYMENT REHABILITATION <br />LOAN FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 50660 through 50668, <br />inclusive, of the California Health and Safety Code, the <br />California Department of Housing and Community Development <br />(hereinafter referred to as the "State") is authorized to <br />make deferred loans for the rehabilitation of housing in <br />designated areas; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of <br />Santa Ana, a public body, corporate and politic, organized <br />under the laws of the State of California, is enabled and <br />eligible to receive said loans and desires to accept said <br />delegation. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING <br />AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That the Housing Authority of the City of <br />Santa Ana accepts the delegation of functions pursuant to <br />Title 25, California Administrative Code, Subchapter 5, <br />"Deferred Payment Rehabilitation Loans," heretofore made by <br />the City of Santa Ana, a municipal corporation of the State <br />of California; and <br /> <br />2. That the Housing Authority of the City of <br />Santa Ana is hereby authorized to incur an indebtedness and <br />to enter into an agreement with the State to borrow an <br />amount not to exceed one hundred thousand dollars <br />($100,000.00) for the purposes of making deferred payment <br />loans for housing rehabilitation; and <br /> <br />3. That the Housing Authority of the City of <br />Santa Ana is hereby authorized to give a promissory note and <br />other appropriate instruments to the State to evidence said <br />debt and to secure said note; and <br /> <br />4. That the Chairman of the Housing Authority of <br />. the City of Santa Ana is hereby authorized to execute in the <br />name of the Housing Authority said Loan Agreement, note and <br />other documents required to consummate said transaction. <br /> <br />5A <br />
