<br />-. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DMF/fm <br />6/19/81 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />81-2 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE SUBMISSION OF <br />AN APPLICATION TO THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT <br />OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR ADDITIONAL <br />CERTIFICATES UNDER THE "SECTION 8 HOUSING <br />ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR EXISTING HOUSING" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of <br />Santa Ana is authorized to administer the "Housing Assistance <br />Program for Section 8 Existing Housing" for the United <br />States Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD"), <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, HUD notified the Housing Authority of the <br />City of Santa Ana on June 12, 1981 that forty (40) additional <br />Section 8 certificates are available, which would increase <br />the number of persons of low and moderate income who may be <br />assisted in their housing within the City of Santa Ana, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the forty (40) available Section 8 certificates <br />consist of ten (10) for elderly persons, twenty-five (25) <br />small families, and five (5) for large families as these <br />terms are defined in Title 24 of the Code of Federal Regulations, <br />and <br /> <br />City of <br />Section <br /> <br />WHEREAS, HUD requires the Housing Authority of the <br />Santa Ana to file its application for the forty (40) <br />8 certificates by June 23, 1981. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the HOUSING <br />AUTHORITY of the City of Santa Ana as follows: <br /> <br />1. The Housing Authority of the City of Santa <br />Ana declares the submission of the application for the forty <br />(40) Section 8 Existing Housing Certificates by June 23, <br />1981 to be an emergency matter. <br /> <br />2. The submission of an <br />united States Department of Housing <br />for forty (40) additional Section 8 <br />is hereby approved. <br /> <br />application to the <br />and Urban Development <br />Existing Housing Certificates <br /> <br />3.
