<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DMF/fm <br />6/13/83 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-3 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA APPROVING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO THE <br />UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOP- <br />MENT FOR ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATES UNDER THE "SECTION 8 <br />MODERATE REHABILITATION PROGRAM" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana <br />is authorized to administer the "Housing Assistance Program for <br />Section 8 Exisiting Housing" Program for the United States Depart- <br />ment of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, HUD notified the Housing Authority of the City <br />of Santa Ana on June 3, 1983 that additional Section 8 Moderate <br />Rehabilitation certificates are available which would increase' <br />the number of standard housing units available to low and moderate <br />income persons, and increase the number of persons of low and <br />moderate income who may be assisted in their housing within the <br />City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the available Section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation <br />certificates applied for consist of twenty-five (25) for elderly <br />persons, thirty-seven (37) for small families, and thirty-eight <br />(38) for large families as these terms are defined in Title 24 of <br />the Code of Federal Regulations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, HUD requires the Housing Authority of the City <br />of Santa Ana to file its application for the additional Section 8 <br />Moderate Rehabilitation certificates by June 13,1983. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />of the City of Santa Ana as follows: <br /> <br />1. The Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana <br />declares the submission of the application for the additional <br />Section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation certificates by Jùne 13, 1983 <br />to be an emergency matter. <br /> <br />2. The submission of an application to the United <br />States Department of Housing and Urban Development for additional <br />Section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation certificates is hereby approved. <br /> <br />3.
