MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br /> OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />October 13, 1975 <br /> <br />The Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council was called <br />to order at 2:10 P.M. by Mayor John Garthe, in the Council <br />Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, with the following Council <br />members present: Gordon Bricken, David F. Ortiz, Harry K. <br />Yamamoto, Vernon S. Evans, David L. Brandt, James E. Ward, <br />and Mayor John Garthe. Also present were City Manager Bruce <br />C. Spragg, City Attorney Keith L. Gow, Director of Public <br />Works Ronald Wolford, Director of Planning Charles C. Zimmer- <br />man, Police Chief Raymond C. Davis, and Clerk of the Council <br />Florence I. Malone. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />man Ortiz. <br /> <br />Following the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the <br />Flag, the Invocation <br />was given by Council- <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Councilman Brandt; <br />Councilman Bricken <br />men Brandt and <br /> <br /> The following Agenda <br /> Items were removed from <br /> the Consent Calendar: <br /> Item 9 B requested by <br /> Item 4 requested by Councilman Yamamoto. <br /> registered a NO vote on Item 1 D; Council- <br />Evans registered NO on Item ? B. <br /> <br />On the unanimously carried (7-0) motion of Councilman Evans, <br />seconded by Councilman Brandt, Council affirmed the recom- <br />mended action on the following Consent Calendar Items: <br /> <br />BID AWARDS <br /> <br />a total of $271,871.00, <br />and best bidder: <br /> <br /> Awarded the following <br /> on base bid and all <br /> seven alternates for <br />on basis of lowest responsible <br /> <br />PROJECT NO. 8074 <br />Citizens Center. <br />Fullerton. <br /> <br />- Construct <br />Awarded to <br /> <br />Santa Aha Senior <br />Contracting Services, <br /> CA 89G <br /> <br />Awarded the following on basis of lowest responsible <br />and best bidder: <br /> <br />PROJECT NO. 8102, 8103, 8104 Construct Traffic <br />Signal and Lighting Systems at Harbor Boulevard <br />and Segerstrom Avenue; at Sunflower Avenue and <br />Plaza Drive; and at Fairview Street and MacArthur <br />Boulevard. Awarded to Trascon, Inc., Los Alamitos. <br /> CA 89B <br /> <br />SPEC. NO. 756-231 - Asphalt Concrete - Annual <br />Requirement. Awarded to Industrial Asphalt, <br />Santa Aha. <br /> <br />CA 89G <br /> <br />SPEC. NO. 75-021 300 Hand Guns. Awarded to <br />California Electronic Police Equipment, Santa <br />Aha.
