N'UE:dlv 5-22-85 RESOLUTION 85-7 RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE SUB- MISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR ADDITIONAL VOUCHERS UNDER THE "SECTION 8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR EXISTING HOUSING, RENTAL REHABILITATION GRANT PROGRAM" WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana is authorized to administer the "Housing Assis- tance Program for Section 8 Existing Housing Rental Rehab- ilitation Grant Program" for the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD"); and WHEREAS, HUD notified the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana on May 8, 1985 that Section 8 vouchers are available with the Rental Rehabilitation Grant Program which would increase the number of persons of low and moderate income who may be assisted in their housing within the city of Santa Ana; and WHEREAS, HUD has made available thirty-six (36) Section 8 vouchers; and WHEREAS, HUD requires the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana to file its application for the thirty-six (36) Section 8 vouchers by June 21, 1985 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana as follows: declares six (36) to be an 1. The Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana the submission of the application for the thirty- Section 8 Existing Housing vouchers by June 21, 1985 emergency matter. 2. The submission of an application to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for thirty-six (36) additional Section 8 Existing Housing vouchers is hereby approved.
