RESOLUTION 85-18 I RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR ADDITIONAL HOUSING VOUCHERS UNDER THE "SECTION 8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR EXISTING HOUSING." . WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana is authorized to administer the "Housing Assistance Program for the Section 8 Existing Housing Program for the united States Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD"); and WHEREAS, HUD notified the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana on September 4, 1985 that section 8 Housing Vouchers are available which would increase the number of persons of low and moderate income who may be assisted in their housing within the City of Santa Ana; and WHEREAS, the eleven (ll) Section 8 Housing Vouchers are consistent with our Housing Assistance Plan (HAP); and . City (ll) WHEREAS, HUD requires the Housing Authority of the of Santa Ana to file its application for the eleven Section 8 Housing Vouchers by September 11, 1985; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana as follows: 1- declares the (11) Section an emergency The Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana submission of the application for the eleven 8 Housing Vouchers by September 11, 1985 to be matter. 2.
