<br />.. <br />, . <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86-7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF ~ANTA ANA <br />APPROVING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO THE UNITED <br />STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSIHG AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR <br />ADDITIONAL HOUSING VOUcmnts UNDER THE "SECTION 8 HOUSING <br />ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR EXISTING HOUSING." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housinq Authority of the City of Santa Ana <br />is authorized to administer the "Housinq Assistance proqram for <br />Section 8 Existinq Housinq Proqram" for the United States <br />Department of Housinq and Urban Development ("BUD"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, BUD notified the Housinq Authority of the City <br />of Santa Ana on June 13, 1986 that Section 8 Housinq Vouchers <br />are available which would increase the number of persons of low <br />and moderate income who may be assisted in their housinq within <br />the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the twenty-five (25) Section 8 Hous1nq <br />Vouchers are consistent with our Housinq Assistance Plan (HAP). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, BUD requires the Housinq Authority of the City <br />of Santa Ana to file its application for the twenty-five (25) <br />Section 8 Housinq Vouchers by June 30, 1986. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housinq Authority <br />of the City of Santa Ana as follows: <br /> <br />1. The Housinq Authority of the city of Santa Ana <br />declares the submission of the application for the twenty-five <br />(25) Section 8 Housinq Vouchers by June 30, 1986 to be an <br />emerqency matter. <br /> <br />2. The suþmission of an application to the United <br />States DepartJaent of Houainq and Urban Development for <br />twenty-five (25) additional Section 8 Housinq Vouchers is hereby <br />approved. <br /> <br />3. The Executive Director of the Housinq Authority of <br />the City of Santa Ana is hereby authorized and directed to take <br />all necessary steps to file said application and to provide such <br />information as may be required. <br /> <br />48 <br />
