<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 87-5 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA APPROVING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO THE <br />UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT <br />FOR ADDITIONAL HOUSING VOUCHERS UNDER THE "SECTION 8 <br />HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR EXISTING HOUSING." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housinq Authority of the city of Santa Ana is <br />authorized to administer the "Housinq Assistance proqram for the <br />section 8 Existinq Housinq proqram for the United States Department <br />of Housinq and Urban Development ("HUD"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, HUD notified the Housing Authority of the City of <br />Santa Ana on August 26, 1987 that section 8 Housinq Vouchers are <br />available which would increase the number of persons of low and <br />moderate income who may be assisted in their housing within the City <br />of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the thirty-two (32) Section 8 Housinq Vouchers are <br />consistent with our Housinq Assistance Plan (HAP); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housinq Authority of <br />the City of Santa Ana as follows: <br /> <br />1. The submission of an application to the United <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development for thirty-two <br />additional section 8 Housinq Vouchers is hereby approved. <br /> <br />2.
