<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />18 <br />i <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 88-4 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE <br />SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO THE <br />UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING <br />AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR ADDITIONAL <br />HOUSING VOUCHERS UNDER THE SECTION 8 <br />HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR EXISTING <br />HOUSING AND AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION OF <br />THE ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housinq Authority of the city of Santa Ana <br />is authorized to administer the "Housinq Assistance Proqram for <br />the Section 8 Existinq Housinq proqram for the United States <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD")f and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, HUD notified the Housinq Authority of the City <br />of Santa Ana on April 28, 1988, that Section 8 Housinq Vouchers <br />are available which would increase the number of persons of low <br />and moderate income who may be assisted in their housinq within <br />the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the seventy-five (75) Section 8 Housinq <br />Vouchers are consistent with our Housinq Assistance Plan (HAP)f <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing Authority <br />of the City ot Santa Ana as follows: <br /> <br />1. The submission of an application to the United <br />States Department of Housinq and Urban Development for <br />seventy-five (75) additional Section 8 Housinq Vouchers is hereby <br />approved and designated an emerqency matter. <br /> <br />2. The Executive Director of the Housinq Authority of <br />the City of Santa Ana is hereby authorized and directed to take <br />all necessary steps to file said application and to provide such <br />information as may be required. <br />
