<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DMF/fm <br />7/31/90 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 90-7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA APPROVING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO THE <br />UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT <br />FOR ADDITIONAL HOUSING CERTIFICATES AND VOUCHERS UNDER <br />THE SECTION 8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR EXISTING HOUSING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana is authorized to <br />administer the HOusing program for the Section 8 Existing Program for the United <br />States Department of Housing and Urban Development ("OOD"): and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, HOD notified the HOusing Authority of the City of Santa Ana ("Housing <br />Authority") that Section 8 Housing certificates and Vouchers are available which <br />would increase the number of persons of low and moderate income who may be <br />assisted in their housing within the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housing Advisory Commission of the City of Santa Ana approved the <br />application of the Housing Authority on May 29, 1990: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the one hundred seventy-three Section 8 Housing Certificates and <br />Vouchers are consistent with our Housing Assistance Plan ("HAP"); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing Authority of the City of Santa <br />Ana as follows: <br /> <br />1. The submission of an application to the united States Department of <br />HOusing and Urban Development for one hundred seventy-three additional section 8 <br />Housing Certificates and Vouchers is hereby approved. <br /> <br />2.
