<br />8, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 92-01 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO <br />THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING <br />AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR ADDITIONAL HOUSING <br />CERTIFICATES AND VOUCHERS UNDER THE <br />SECTION 8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM IN <br />CONNECTION WITH FAMILY SELF-SUFFICIENCY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housinq Authority of the city of Santa Ana is <br />authorized to administer the Housinq Program for the Section 8 <br />Existing Proqram for the United States Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development ("BUD"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, BUD notified the Housing Authority of the City of Santa <br />Ana ("Housinq Authority") that section 8 Housing Certificates and <br />Vouchers in connection with the Family Self-Sufficiency Program are <br />available which would increase the number of persons of low-and <br />moderate-income who may be assisted in their housing within the city <br />of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the additional section 8 Housing certificates and <br />Vouchers are consistent with our Housinq Assistance Plan ("HAP"); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing Authority of the <br />city of Santa Ana as follows: <br /> <br />1. The submission of an application to the United States <br />Department of Housinq and Urban Development for additional Section 8 <br />Housing certificates and Vouchers in connection with the Family Self- <br />Sufficiency Program is hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The Executive Director of the Housing Authority of the city <br />of Santa Ana is hereby authorized and directed to take all necessary <br />steps to file said application and to provide such information as may <br />be required. <br /> <br />..0IIII <br />
