' <br /> <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />, , . <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 92-06 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO <br />THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING <br />AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR ADDITIONAL HOUSING <br />CERTIFICATES UNDER THE SECTION 8 <br />HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM IN <br />CONNECTION WITH FAMILY UNIFICATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the city of Santa Ana is <br />authorized to administer the Housing Program for the section 8 <br />Existing Program for the united States Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development ("HUD") ¡ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, HUD notified the Housing Authority of the City of Santa <br />Ana ("Housing Authority") that Section 8 Housing Certificates in <br />connection with the Family Unification Program are available which <br />would increase the number of persons of low-and moderate-income who <br />may be assisted in their housing within the city of Santa Ana¡ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the additional section 8 Housing certificates are <br />consistent with our Housing Assistance Plan ("HAP"); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing Authority of the <br />City of Santa Ana as follows: <br /> <br />1. The submission of an application to the united States <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development for additional Section 8 <br />Housing Certificates in connection with the Family Unification <br />Program is hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The Executive Director of the Housing Authority of the City <br />of Santa Ana is hereby authorized and directed to take all necessary <br />steps to file said application and to provide such information as may <br />be required. <br />
