<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 94-07 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA APPROVING THE SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION TO THE <br />UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT <br />FOR ADDITIONAL HOUSING CERTIFICATES AND VOUCHERS UNDER THE <br />SECTION 8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana <br />("PHA") is authorized to administer the "Housing Assistance Program <br />for the Section 8 Existing Program for the united States Department <br />of Housing and Urban Development (IIHUD") ¡ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, HUD notified the PHA that section 8 Housing <br />certificates and Vouchers are available which would increase the <br />number of persons of low and moderate income who may be assisted in <br />their housing within the city of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the additional section 8 <br />Vouchers are consistent with our <br />Affordability Strategy (IICHAS")¡ <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing Authority of the <br />City of Santa Ana as follows: <br /> <br />Housing certificates and <br />Comprehensive Housing <br /> <br />1. The Submission of an application to the united States <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development for one hundred <br />additional section 8 Housing certificates or Vouchers is hereby <br />approved. <br /> <br />2. The Executive Director of the Housing Authority of the <br />City of Santa Ana is hereby authorized and directed to take all <br />necessary steps to file said application and to provide such <br />information as may be required. <br />
