<br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95-02 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING PART I OF <br />THE SECTION 8 EXISTING MODERATE REHABILITATION PROGRAM <br />FOR SINGLE ROOM OCCUPANCY DWELLINGS FOR HOMELESS <br />INDIVIDUALS ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT NO. CA-503 (K)(SRO) <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana <br />("PHA") is authorized to administer the "Housing Assistance Program <br />for the sectiGn 8 Moderate Rehabilitation Program for Single Room <br />Occupancy Dwellings for Homeless Individuals" for the united States <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD")¡ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the PHA desires to enter into a Part I of the Section <br />8 Annual contributions Contract ("ACC") with HUD for the section 8 <br />Moderate Rehabilitation Program for Single Room Occupancy for <br />Homeless Individuals. ' <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation for single Room <br />Occupancy will consist of the following counterparts: <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />Part I of the ACC, HUD 52520B (SUPP) (10/79), applicable <br />to the section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation program¡ with <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />Exhibit I to Part Ii and <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />Exhibit II to Part II, adding project No. CA16-K093-003. <br /> <br />d. <br /> <br />Byrd Amendment Award Clause <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the PHA as follows: <br /> <br />1. The Part I of the ACC for the Housing <br />Rehabilitation Program is hereby approved and accepted. <br /> <br />Moderate <br /> <br />2. The Chairman and Executive Director of the Housing <br />Authority are hereby authorized and directed to execute the <br />counterparts of the ACC on behalf of the PHA, and the Secretary is <br />hereby authorized to impress the official seal bf the PHA on such <br />counterpart and to forward such documents evidencing the approval <br />and authorizing the execution thereof as may be required by the <br />government. <br /> <br />3. The Housing Authority declares this to be an emergency <br />matter under Health and Safety Code section 34292. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />This Resolution shall take effect immediately. <br />
