<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001.()88 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 <br />TO EFFECT CERTAIN CHANGES TO THE CITY'S BASIC <br />CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN, AND TO <br />AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO <br />ALLOCATE FIVE POSITIONS. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOllOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby, finds, determines and declares as follows: <br /> <br />A, <br /> <br />Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana <br />requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position <br />classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations <br />and the approval of the City Council. <br /> <br />On August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No, <br />82-110 revising and re-establishing the Basic Classification and <br />Compensation Plan for Officers and Employees of the City of Santa Ana, <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />On June 18, 2001, the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance No, <br />NS-2474, which establishes the City's Annual Budget, authorizing position <br />allocations for Fiscal Year 2001-2002, and which sets forth the <br />requirement that alterations in the allocation of authorized positions be <br />reviewed and approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />D, <br /> <br />The U,S, Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has <br />awarded 500 Housing Choice Vouchers to the City of Santa Ana, requiring <br />additional staff to effectively administer them. <br /> <br />E, <br /> <br />The Executive Director of the Community Development Agency proposes <br />to create two (2) new classification titles and to add five (5) additional <br />positions to the current Annual Budget, as amended, <br /> <br />F, <br /> <br />It is now desired to amend Council Resolution No, 82-110, as amended, <br />and the Fiscal Year 2001-2002 Budget, as amended, in order to effect <br />these changes, <br /> <br />Section 2: That Section 3 of Resolution No, 82-110, as amended, is hereby <br />further amended by: <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />adding, in alphabetical sequence, the following class titles at the <br />six-step monthly salary rate ranges and effective dates indicated: <br />
