<br />. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />., <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />MINUTES OF ORGANIZATION MEETING OF THE <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF <br />SANT A ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />May 1, 1972 <br /> <br />For the purpose of organizing, a meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of <br />Santa Ana was held on the 1st day of May, 1972, at 4:00 o'clock, P.M., at the <br />City Hall Annex, 530 North Ross Street, in the City of Santa Ana, California. <br />All members of the Authority were present as follows: <br /> <br />Vernon S. Evans <br />Lorin Griset <br />Wade Herrin <br /> <br />Jerry M. Patterson <br />Ray Villa <br />Harry K. Yamamoto <br /> <br />There were also present by invitation the following: <br /> <br />Carl J. Thornton <br />James A. Withers <br />Florence Malone <br />Robert Portillo <br />Sandi Mosley <br /> <br />Commissioner Jerry M. Patterson, Chairman of the Authority, presided. <br /> <br />Florence <br />meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Commissioner <br />Evans, seconded by Commissioner <br />Herrin and unanimously carried, <br />I. Malone was appointed Recording Secretary and kept the Minutes of the <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT <br />OF RECORDING SECRETARY <br /> <br />The Recording Secretary confirmed the roH call of the Authority members and <br />read the call of the meeting, which is attached hereto as Exhibit 1 and made a <br />part hereof as though set forth in full in these Minutes. <br /> <br />READING WAIVED On motion of Commissioner <br />Herrin, seconded by Commissioner <br />Evans and unanimously carried, <br />the full reading of the following resolutions, the titles of which appeared on the <br />public Agenda, was waived. The Commissioners were provided with a copy of each <br />Resolution and additional copies were available to the public. The Resolutions <br />considered are attached to these Minutes as Exhibits 2 through 8 and are made a <br />part hereof as though set forth in full in these Minutes. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 72-1, A RESOLUTION <br />OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF <br />THE CITY OF SANT A ANA <br />AUTHORIZING THE TRANSACTION OF BUSINESS was adopted on motion of <br />Comm"fssioner Griset, secondedhy Commissioner Yamamoto, and carried on a 5-t <br />vote, Commissioner Evans dissenting. <br /> <br />RES. 72-1 <br />TRANSACTION OF BUSINESS <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 72-2, A RESOLUTION <br />OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ADOPTING <br />ITS BY -LAWS was adopted on motion of Commissioner Villa, seconded by Commissioner <br />Yamamoto, and carried on a 5-1 vote, Commissioner Evans dissenting. <br /> <br />RES. 72-2 <br />BY-LAWS <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br />_.~ <br />
