MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />February 17, 1976 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 2:10 P.M. by Mayor John <br />Garthe in the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza. <br />The following Council members were present: Gordon Bricken, <br />David F. Ortiz, Harry K. Yamamoto, Vernon S. Evans, David L. <br />Brandt, James E. Ward, and Mayor John Garthe. Also present <br />were City Manager Bruce C. Spragg; City Attorney Keith L. <br />Gow; Assistant City Manager, Ronald Wolford; Deputy City Man- <br />agers Thomas Andrusky, G. David Tayco, and Manuel Rede; Public <br />Works Director John Stevens; Planning Director Charles Zimmer- <br />man; Police Chief Raymond Davis; and Clerk of the Council <br />Florence I. Malone. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Following the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag, <br />the Invocation was given <br />by Councilman Yamamoto. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR The following items were <br />ITEMS REMOVED & removed from the Consent <br />DISSENTING VOTES Calendar: Item S C re- <br /> quested by Councilman <br />Yamamoto; and Item 7 B requested by Staff.
