<br />. <br />. <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />February 20,1973 <br /> <br />A Regular meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of <br />Santa Ana was called to order by Chairman Jerry M. Patterson <br />at 2:05 P.M., in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center <br />Plaza, Santa Ana. The following members of the Authority <br />responded to the roll call: <br /> <br />Vernon S. Evans <br />Wade Herrin <br />Lorin Griset <br /> <br />Harry K. Yamamoto <br />Jerry M. Patterson <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Ray Villa <br /> <br />There were also present by invitation the following: <br /> <br />. <br />, <br /> <br />Bruce Spragg, Secretary Pro Tem <br />James A. Withers, Attorney for the Authority <br />Florence I. Malone, Recording Secretary <br />Joe Cordero, Reporter for the "Register" <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />The full reading of <br />the Minutes of the <br />Regular Meeting of <br />1973, was waived and the Minutes were unanimously <br />mailed on motion of Commissioner Herrin, <br />Commissioner Yamamoto. <br /> <br />January 15, <br />approved as <br />seconded by <br /> <br />SCHEDULE OF INCOME LIMITS <br /> <br />The letter dated <br />February 1,1973, from <br />the Department of Housing <br />and Urban Development, from Howard C. Bricken, Los Angeles <br />Area Economist, approving the Schedule of Income Limits fixed <br />by the Authority on November 20,1972, was received and filed, <br />on the unanimously approved motion by Commissioner Herrin, <br />seconded by Commissioner Evans. <br /> <br />SECRETARY PRO TEM REPORT <br /> <br />The progress report, <br />dated February 8,1973, <br />from the Secretary Pro <br />unanimousl¥ approved motion <br />by Commiss~oner Herrin. <br /> <br />: <br />. <br /> <br />Tem was received and filed, on the <br />of Commissioner Yamamoto, seconded <br /> <br />In addition, Mr. Spragg reported that his primary concern is <br />receipt of the funding from HUD and employment of the <br />Housing Coordinator. <br /> <br />Mr. Manuel Rede, Assistant to the City Manager for Community <br />Relations stated that application requests for housing are <br />in process; that press releases are being prepared; that the <br />first quarter funding allotment is scheduled to arrive approx- <br />imately March 1,1973 and the second quarter, sometime during <br />the month of March. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br />f' <br />
