MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />March 1, 1976 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 2:00 P.M. by Mayor John <br />Garthe in the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza. <br />The following Council members were present: David F. Ortiz, <br />Harry K. Yamamoto, Vernon S. Evans, David L. Brandt, James <br />E. Ward, and Mayor John Garthe. Councilman Gordon Bricken <br />was absent. Also present were City Manager Bruce C. Spragg; <br />City Attorney Keith L. Gow; Assistant City Manager Ronald E. <br />Wolford; Deputy City Managers G. David Tayco and Manuel Rede; <br />Public Works Director John E. Stevens; Planning Director <br />Charles Zimmerman; Police Chief Raymond C. Davis; and Clerk <br />of the Council Florence I. Malone. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Following the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag, <br />the Invocation was given <br />~y Councilman Ward. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR -The following items were <br />ITEMS REMOVED & removed from the Consent <br />DISSENTING VOTES Calendar: Item 7 C re- <br /> quested by Councilman Ward; <br />Item 12 C requested by Councilman Brandt; Item 14 requested by <br />Councilmen Evans and Ortiz.
