<br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />February 17, 1976 <br /> <br />The Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of <br />Santa Ana was called to order at 4:29 P.M., by Chairman Harry <br />K. Yamamoto, in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, <br />Santa Ana. The following members of the Authority responded <br />to the roll call: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Absent <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Gordon Bricken <br />David F. Ortiz <br />John Garthe <br />Vernon S. Evans <br />David L. Brandt <br />James E. Ward <br />Harry K. Yamamoto, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Chairman <br /> <br />The following persons were also present: <br /> <br />Manuel Rede, Executive Director-Secretary <br />Keith L. Gow, City Attorney <br />Bruce C. Spragg, City Manager <br />Florence I. Malone, Recording Secretary <br />Representative of the Press <br /> <br />BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />Nothing to report. <br /> <br />On motion of Commissioner <br />Brandt, seconded by <br />Commissioner Bricken <br />and carried unanimously <br />filed: <br /> <br />REPORT OF DIRECTOR <br /> <br />the following documents were received and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Monthly Report for the Section 23 Leased <br />Housing (Existing Units), indicating that 83 <br />of the 100 authorized units were under lease <br />as of February 1, 1976 and that 80 are occupied <br />by tenants. <br /> <br />January 31,1976, Trial Balance for the Section <br />23 Leased Housing Program, indicating a balance <br />of $575,233.96. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The Monthly Report for the Revised Section 23 - <br />Housing Assistance Payment Program (HAP), <br />indicating that 46 of the 50 units authorized <br />by HUD were under lease and occupied by tenants <br />as of February 1,1976; that as of February 1, <br />1976, 107 certificates have been issued and 46 <br />occupy a home or an apartment. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />January 31, 1976, Trial Balance for Revised <br />Section 23 - Housing Assistance Payments Program <br />(HAP), indicating a balance of $117,779.00. <br /> <br />The Monthly Report for the Section 8 Program <br />(Existing Units), indicating that from October 21. ' <br />1975 to February 1, 1976, a total of 80 units were <br />under lease and that during January, 1976, 46 <br />certificates have been issued for the very low <br />income and 5 for the low income making a total of <br />51 certificates issued. <br /> <br />5. <br />
