Yamamoto, <br />in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana. The <br />following members of the Authority responded to the roll call: <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Absent <br /> <br />Gordon Bricken <br />David F. Ortiz <br />John Garthe <br />Vernon S. Evans <br />David L. Brandt <br />James E. Ward <br />Harry K. Yamamoto, <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Chai rman <br /> <br />The following persons were also present: <br /> <br />Manuel Rede, Executive Director-Secretary <br />Keith L. Gow, City Attorney <br />Bruce C. Spragg, City Manager <br />Florence I. Malone, Recording Secretary <br />Representative of the Press <br /> <br />The full reading of <br />the minutes of the <br />Regular Meeting of <br />March 22,1976 and the Special Meeting of April 5, 1976, was <br />waived and they were approved as mailed on the motion of Com- <br />missioner Evans, seconded by Commissioner Ortiz and carried (7-0). <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />Nothing to report. <br /> <br />On motion of Com- <br />missioner Evans, <br />seconded by Com- <br />missioner Bricken, and carried (7-0) the following documents <br />were received and filed: <br /> <br />REPORT OF DIRECTOR <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Monthly Report for the Section 23 - Leased <br />Housing (Existing Units), indicating that 80 <br />of the 100 authorized units were under lease <br />as of April 1, 1976 and that 80 are occupied <br />by tenants. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />March 31, 1976, Trial Balance for the Section <br />23 Leased Housing Program, indicating a balance <br />of $606,356.49. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The Monthly Report for the Revised Section 23 <br />Housing Assistance Payment Program (HAP), <br />indicating that 48 of the 50 units authorized <br />by HUD were under lease and occupied by tenants <br />as of April 1, 1976; and that as of April 1,1976 <br />110 certificates have been issued. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />March 31, 1976, Trial Balance for Revised Section <br />23 - Housing Assistance Payments Program (HAP) <br />indicating a balance of $118,789.46. <br />
