<br />:- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA, CALI FORNIA <br /> <br />June 21, 1976 <br /> <br />The Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of <br />Santa Ana, was called to order at 2:02 P.M., by Chairman Harry <br />K. Yamamoto, in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, <br />Santa Ana. The following members of the Authority responded to <br />the roll call: <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Absent <br /> <br />John Garthe <br />Vernon S. Evans <br />David L. Brandt <br />James E. Ward <br />Harry K. Yamamoto, <br /> <br />Gordon Bricken <br />David F. Ortiz <br /> <br />Chairman <br /> <br />The following persons were also present: <br /> <br />Manuel Rede, Executive Director-Secretary <br />Keith L. Gow, City Attorney <br />Bruce C. Spragg, City Manager <br />Pat E. Rice, Acting Recording Secretary <br />Representative of the Press <br /> <br />The full reading <br />of the Minutes of <br />June 7,1976, was <br />waived and they were approved as mailed, on motion of Commissioner <br />Ward, seconded by Commissioner Garthe, and unanimously carried <br />(5-0). <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />A letter dated May <br />13, 1976, from the <br />Santa Ana Unified <br />School District, notifying the Housing Authority of the District's <br />intent to sell an approximate two (2.46) acre parcel of land was <br />received and filed on motion of Commissioner Ward, seconded by <br />Commissioner Garthe. <br /> <br />BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />REPORT OF DIRECTOR On motion of Com- <br />missioner Ward, <br />seconded by Commissioner <br />Garthe, and carried (5-0) the following documents were received <br />and filed: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Monthly Report for the Section 23 - Leased <br />Housing (Existing Units), indicating that 80 <br />of the 100 authorized units were under lease as <br />of June 1, 1976. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />May 31, 1976, Trial Balance for the Section 23 <br />Leased Housing Program, indicating a balance <br />of $592,656.46. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The Monthly Report for the Revised Section 23 <br />Housing Assistance Payment Program, indicating <br />that 48 of the 50 units authorized by HUD are <br />under lease and occupied by tenants as of June <br />1, 1976. <br />
