Yamamoto, in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, <br />Santa Ana. The following members of the Authority responded to <br />the roll call: <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Absent <br /> <br />Gordon Bricken <br />David Orti z <br />John Garthe <br />David Brandt <br />James E. Ward <br />Harry K. Yamamoto, <br /> <br />Vernon S. Evans <br /> <br />Chairman <br /> <br />The following persons were also present: <br /> <br />Manuel Rede, Executive Director-Secretary <br />Keith L. Gow, City Attorney <br />Bruce C. Spragg, City Manager <br />Florence I. Malone, Recording Secretary <br />Representative of the Press <br /> <br />The full reading of <br />the Minutes of August <br />16, 1976, and the <br />Special Minutes of September 7, 1976, was waived and they were <br />approved as mailed on motion of Commissioner Ward, seconded by <br />Commissioner Garthe, and unanimously carried (6-0). <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />Nothing to report. <br /> <br />On motion of Com- <br />missioner Ward, <br />seconded by Commissioner <br />Brandt, and carried (6-0) the following documents were received and <br />filed: <br /> <br />REPORT OF DIRECTOR <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Monthly Report for the Section 23 - Leased <br />Housing (Existing Units), indicating that 65 <br />of the 100 authorized units were under lease <br />as of September 1,1976. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />August 31, 1976, Trial Balance for the Section 23 <br />Leased Housing Program, indicating a balance of <br />$535,813.04. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The Monthly Report for the Section 8 Program, <br />indicating that a total of 128 units of the ISO <br />authorized by HUD were under lease as of September <br />J, 1976; and that 41 of the additional 300 units <br />authorized by HUD were under lease as of September <br />1, 1976. <br />
