Yamamoto, in the Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, <br />Santa Ana. The following members of the Authority responded to <br />the roll call: <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Absent <br /> <br />Gordon Bricken <br />David F. Ortiz <br />John Garthe <br />David L. Spragg, City Manager <br />Florence I. Malone, Recording Secretary <br />Representative of the Press <br /> <br />The full reading of <br />the Minutes of <br />November 15,1976, <br />and the Minutes of the Adjourned Regular Meetings of November 23, <br />1976 and December 6, 1976, was waived and they were approved as <br />mailed on motion of Commissioner Brandt, seconded by Commissioner <br />Garthe, and unanimously carried (6-0). <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br /> <br />Nothing to report. <br /> <br />On motion of Com- <br />missioner Ward, <br />seconded by Com- <br />missioner Garthe, and carried (6-0) the following documents were <br />received and filed: <br /> <br />REPORT OF DIRECTOR <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The Monthly Report for the Section 23 Leased <br />Housing (Existing Units), indicating that 60 <br />of the 100 authorized units were under lease <br />as of December 1,1976. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />November 30, 1976, Trial Balance for the Section <br />23 Leased Housing Program, indicating a balance <br />of $571,184.90. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The Monthly Report for the Section 8 Leased <br />Housing indicating that 196 units of the <br />450 authorized by HUD were under lease as <br />of December 1, 1976. <br /> <br />November 30,1976, Trial Balance for the Section <br />8 Housing Assistance Payments Program (HAP), <br />indicating a balance of $342,350.59. <br /> <br />Prior to the motion Mr. Rede reported to the Authority that HUD <br />had given a 20% increase in the currently existing fair market <br />rents for three and four bedroom units, which should assist the <br />City's leasing program. <br /> <br />4. <br />
