<br />. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> <br />- 2- <br /> <br />January 24, 1978 <br /> <br />Acting on the advice of Keith Gow, Attorney for the Authority, <br />the written request was referred to the Housing Advisory Com- <br />mission for report back at the next meeting of the Authority, <br />on the unanimously approved 4:0 motion of Commissioner Brandt, <br />seconded by Commissioner Garthe. <br /> <br />The Attorney also stated that he would prepare a Resolution, <br />barring the Orange County Housing Authority from administering <br />the proposed program, for adoption by the City Council at its <br />meeting on February 6 because in his opinion the state law <br />requires that action. <br /> <br />Copies of a letter <br />dated January 17, 1978, <br />from Donald G. Phillips, <br />Director of the Housing <br />Development Division of <br />the Department of Housing <br />and Urban Development, <br />indicating that HUD will be accepting applications for 1,320 units <br />of leased Cexisting) housing in Orange County, to be received <br />within 30 days of January 17, were distributed to the Authority. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />HUD REQUEST FOR <br />APPLICATION FOR <br />SECTION 8 LEASED <br />HOUSING PROGRAM <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />Acting on the recommendation of the Executive Director-Secretary, <br />the Authority authorized him to file an application for 300 units, <br />on the unanimously approved 4:0 motion of Commissioner Garthe, <br />seconded by Commissioner Brandt. <br /> <br />At 5:20 P.M., the <br />meeting was adjourned <br />on the unanimously <br />approved 4:0 motion of Commissioner Brandt, seconded by Commissioner <br />Yamamoto. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br /> <br />~.~~. -:XW~ <br /> <br />FLORENCE I.
