<br />. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />April 25, 1978 <br /> <br />The Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of <br />Santa Ana was called to order at 5:02 P.M., by Vice Chairman <br />Gordon Bricken, in the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center <br />Plaza, Santa Ana. <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Absent <br /> <br />Harry K. Yamamoto <br />Vernon S. Evans <br />John Garthe <br />David L. Brandt <br />James E. Ward <br />Gordon Bricken, Vice Chairman <br /> <br />David F. Ortiz <br /> <br />The following persons were also present: <br /> <br />Bruce C. Spragg, City Manager <br />Keith L. Gow, Authority Attorney <br />Manuel Rede, Executive Director-Secretary <br />Florence I. Malone, Recording Secretary <br />Representative of the Press <br /> <br />The full reading of <br />the Minutes of the <br />Regular Meeting of <br />March 28, 1978 <br />was waived and they were approved as mailed on the unanimously <br />carried 6:0 motion of Commissioner Evans, seconded by Commissioner <br />Ward. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />The monthly report <br />for the Section 8 <br />Rental Assistance <br />Payments Program <br />dated April 17, <br />1978, indicating that 406 of the 470 units authorized by the <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) were under lease <br />as of April 1, 1978, was received and filed on the unanimously <br />carried 6:0 motion of Commissioner Ward, seconded by Commissioner <br />Brandt. <br /> <br />REPORT OF SECRETARY <br />SECTION 8 RENTAL ASSISTANCE <br />PAYMENTS PROGRAM <br />RECEIVED AND FILED <br /> <br />On the unanimously <br />carried 6:0 motion <br />of Commissioner Ward, <br />seconded by Commissioner Yamamoto, the Authority selected the firm <br />of Diehl, Evans and Company for the biennial audit of Housing <br />Authority programs and authorized the Chairman to notify the HUD <br />Regional Office of this selection. <br /> <br />SELECTION OF FIRM <br />FOR AUDIT SERVICES <br /> <br />REPORTS OF COMMITTEES <br /> <br />Nothing to report. <br />Nothing to report. <br />Nothing to report. <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />
