<br />MINUTES <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY <br /> <br />- 2 - <br /> <br />July IS, 1977 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />Chairman Yamamoto <br />requested nominations <br />for Chairman of the <br />Authority for the <br />period commencing <br />July, 1977 and ending <br />July 1975, in accordance with Section 6 of By-Laws, adopted by <br />Resolution No. 72-2, May 1, 1972. Harry K. Yamamoto was nominated <br />by Commissioner Bricken, seconded by Commissioner Brandt. David F. <br />Ortiz was nominated by Commissioner Ward. There were no further <br />nominations and they were closed on motion of Commissioner Bricken, <br />seconded by Commissioner Ward and unanimously carried 7:0. A <br />secret ballot was taken and the Recording Secretary announced that <br />4 votes had been cast for Commissioner Ortiz, two votes for Com- <br />missioner Yamamoto with one abstentiòn. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />DAVID ORTIZ, GORDON BRICKEN <br />ELECTED CHAIRMAN AND <br />VICE CHAIRMAN, RESPECTIVELY <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Chairman Ortiz assumed the Chair and requested nominations for <br />Vice Chairman. Commissioner Bricken was nominated by Commissioner <br />Evans. There were no further nominations and they were closed <br />on motion of Commissioner Ward, seconded by Commissioner Evans <br />and carried unanimously 7:0.
