Ortiz <br />in the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana. <br />Roll Call was as follows: <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Absent <br /> <br />Gordon Bricken <br />Harry K. Malone, Recording Secretary <br />Representatives of the Press <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />The full reading of <br />the Minutes of the <br />Regular Meetings of <br />September 19 and October 3, 1977, was waived and they were approved <br />as mailed on the unanimously carried motion 7:0 of Commissioner <br />Evans, seconded by Commissioner Garthe. <br /> <br />BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS <br />HUD COMMUNICATION <br />RECEIVED AND FILED <br /> <br />A Notice of Increase <br />to Fair Market Rents <br />for three and four <br />bedroom units dated <br />October 12, 1977, from the Department of Housing and Urban Develop- <br />ment (HUD), was received and filed on motion of Commissioner Evans, <br />seconded by Commissioner Bricken (7:0). <br /> <br />The motion to waive full reading of all resolutions and to consider <br />by title only was approved on motion of Commissioner Evans, seconded <br />by Commissioner Garthe (7:0). <br /> <br />REPORT OF SECRETARY <br />SECTION 8 RENTAL <br />8.. ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS PROGRAM <br />.., RECEIVED AND FILED <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Monthly report for <br />the Section 8 Rental <br />Assistance Payments <br />Program, dated October <br />13, 1977, indicating <br />that 323 of the 470 units authorized by the Department of Housing <br />and Urban Development (HUD) were under lease as of October 1, 1977, <br />was received and filed on the unanimously carried 7:0 motion of <br />Commissioner Evans, seconded by Commissioner Brandt. <br /> <br />--- <br /> <br />The Conversion of <br />Senior Housing Project <br />(Santa Ana Towers) <br />from Section 23 (Revised) <br />Program to Section 8 <br />motion of Commissioner Bricken, seconded by <br />unanimously carried 7:0. <br /> <br />CONVERSION OF SENIOR HOUSING <br />PROJECT (SANTA ANA TOWERS) <br />FROM SECTION 23 TO SECTION 8 <br />PROGRAM APPROVED <br /> <br />Program was approved on <br />Commissioner Brandt and <br />
