<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />8 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMISSION <br />AND THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br />SPEC IAL MEETING <br />JUNE 22, 1981 <br /> <br />The joint special meeting of the Housing Authority Commission and the City <br />Council was called to order at 4:42 p.m. by Vice Chairman Luxembourger in Room <br />831 at City Hall, 20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Robert W. Luxembourger <br />Patricia McGuigan <br />John Acosta <br />J. Ogden Markel <br />Daniel E. Griset (late) <br />Al Serrato (late) <br /> <br />Gordon Bricken <br /> <br />The following staff were present: <br /> <br />A.J. Wilson, City Manager <br />Edward J. Cooper, Authority Counsel/City Attorney <br />Robert wheeler, Deputy City Attorney <br />Michael L. Uptegraff, Acting Executive Director of Housing Authority <br />Janice Guy, Clerk of the Council <br />Debbie Vona, Secretary <br /> <br />Housing Advisory Commissioners present: <br /> <br />Velma Bettis <br />Rudy Francis <br />Phyll is Raugi <br />Alfred Kutsch <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Submission of Application for Additional Certificates - After brief discussion, <br />the Housing Authority Commission adopted Resolution 81-2 with the following <br />revision: 10 for elderly, 25 for small famil ies, and 5 for large famil ies. This <br />Resolution was adopted on a MOTION by Mr. Serrato, seconded by Mr. Acosta, and <br />carried 6:0. <br /> <br />The City Council then authorized Vice Mayor Luxembourger to communicate the <br />City's endorsement of application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development for additional certificates under the Section 8 Housing Assistance <br />Payment Program. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />The joint special meeting of the Housing Authority Commission and City Council <br />was adjourned at 5:12 p.m. by Vice Chairman Luxembourger. <br /> <br /> <br />~v~ <br /> <br />De bie Vona, Secretary <br />
