(Agenda Item #10) <br /> <br />CA 89 <br /> <br />Councilman Ward asserted, preceding the motion, that the cost <br />of most institutional carpeting is not so high ($17 per square <br />yard), and that good grades of carpeting are available for less <br />money. Assistant City Manager Wolford responded that the con- <br />tractor had secured bids, that the Purchasing and Property Con- <br />trol Officer had concurred with the recommendation, and that <br />the architect recommended acceptance of the bid. <br /> <br />During the foregoing discussion, Councilman Bricken arrived <br />at 2:20 P.M. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT Councilman Ward's <br />SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER motion to approve <br />APPROVED the following agree- <br /> ment and authorize <br />its execution by the Mayor and Clerk was seconded by <br />Councilman Yamamoto, and unanimously carried (6:0): <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO COUNTY REVENUE SHARING FOR <br />SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER - Between City <br />and County to provide for a six-month <br />(July 1, 1976 to December 31, 1976) ex- <br />tension of expenditure of funds for the <br />County grant. (Agenda Item #12 D) <br /> <br />A-76-53 <br /> <br />Prior to the motion, Councilman Ward commented with regard <br />to Exhibit C of the agreement, the proposed special trans- <br />portation program, that he does not want the City to get <br />into bus operations.
