<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />JUNE 20,1983 <br /> <br />The Special Meeting of the Housing Authority Commission of the City of <br />Santa Ana was called to order by Chairman Luxembourger at 3:43 p.m., in <br />the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California. <br /> <br />PRESENT <br /> <br />Robert W. Luxembourger <br />Daniel E. Griset <br />Gordon Bricken <br />patricia McGuigan <br />P. Lee Johnson <br />John Acosta <br />Daniel H. Young <br /> <br />The following staff were present: <br /> <br />A. J. Wilson, City Manager <br />Rex Swanson, Assistant City Manager <br />Edward J. Cooper, City Attorney <br />Alex Sanchez, Director of Housing <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Application to HUD for 200 Additional Certificates Under the <br />Section 8 Rent Assistance Program - On a MOTION by Mr. Bricken, <br />seconded by Mrs. McGuigan, and carried 7:0, the Housing Authority <br />Commission adopted Resolution 83-2, approving the submission of an <br />application to the federal department of Housing and Urban <br />Development for 200 additional units. <br /> <br />Application to HUD for 100 Additional Certificates Under the <br />Section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation Program - On a MOTION by Mr. <br />Bricken, seconded by Mrs. McGuigan, and carried 7:0, the Commission <br />adopted Resolution 83-3, approving the submission of an application <br />to the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />There being no further business before the Housing Authority Commission, <br />the meeting was adjourned by unanimous informal consent at 3:47 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Housing <br /> <br />~~~ <br /> <br />Debbie Vona, Secretary <br />
