<br />8 <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />JANUARY 19, 1988 <br /> <br />The Regular Meeting of the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana <br />was called to order at 3:56 p.m. by Chairman Young in the city Council <br />Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California. <br /> <br />PRESENT <br /> <br />ABSENT <br />Miguel Pulido <br /> <br />() <br /> <br />Dan Young <br />Patricia McGuigan <br />.Ron May <br />Wilson Hart <br />Daniel E. Griset <br />John Acosta <br /> <br />The following staff were present: David N. Ream, City Manager <br />Edward J. Cooper, Authority Counsel <br />Cynthia J. Nelson, Executive Director <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br /> <br />The Minutes of the January 4, 1988 Housing <br />Authority Meeting were approved on a Motion by <br />Authority Member McGuigan, seconded by Authority <br />Member Acosta and carried 6:0. <br /> <br />. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Award of Contract for ComDuterization of Section 8 Rental <br />Assistance Proarams SDec 87-108. -- The Housing Authority <br />authorized the following action on a Motion by Authority Member <br />Acost~, seconded by Authority Member May and carried 6:0. <br /> <br />1) Reject the bid from Harris-Lanier Corporation as <br />non-responsive to the specification. <br /> <br />2) Award the bid and authorize the Chairman and the Executive <br />Director to execute a contract with KMA Corporation, the <br />lowest responsive bidder for computer equipment in the amount <br />of $32,215.56. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Transfer of Santa Ana Towers OwnershiD. -- The Housing <br />Authority Approved the sale and transfer of the Santa Ana <br />Towers from National Housing Consultants to SBD Properties and <br />authorized the Chairman and Executive Director to execute the <br />assignment of the Housing Assistance Payment on a Motion by <br />Authority Member McGuigan, seconded by Authority Member May <br />and carried 6:0. <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Secretary of the Authority ReDort: The Secretary of the <br />Housing Authority was instructed to insert the following into <br />the minutes on a Motion by Authority Member Pulido, seconded <br />by Authority Member Acosta and carried 5:0: Pursuant to <br />Government Code Section 54954.2 the January 19, 1988 Ho~gdng <br />Authority Agenda was posted on the door of the Council <br />Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, at 8:30 a.m.'on January 15, <br />1988.
