MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />January 17, 1977 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor John Garthe in the <br />City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, at 2:05 P.M. <br />The following Council members were present: Gordon Bricken, <br />David F. Ortiz, Harry K. Yamamoto, Vernon S. Evans, David L. <br />Brandt, James E. Ward, and Mayor Garthe. Also present were <br />the following members of Staff: City Manager Bruce C. Spragg, <br />City Attorney Keith L. Gow, Assistant City Manager Ronald <br />Wolford, Director of Public Works John E. Stevens, Planning <br />Director Charles C. Zimmerman, Police Chief Raymond C. Davis, <br />and Clerk of the Council Florence I. Malone. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />man David F. Ortiz. <br /> <br />Following the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the <br />Flag, the Invocation <br />was given by Council- <br /> <br />RECESS The meeting recessed <br />HOUSING AUTHORITY at-2:06-P.M, for the <br /> regular meeting of the <br /> Housing Authority; <br />at 2:10 P.M. the meeting reconvened with all Councilmen <br />present. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR Councilman Ward <br />ITEMS REMOVED & requested removal <br />DISSENTING VOTES of-Items 7 B and <br /> 12 A from the <br />Consent Calendar; Councilman Evans registered NO votes on <br />Items 5 B, 12 C and 12 D. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR On the unanimously <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS approved 7:0 motion <br />APPROVED of Councilman Evans, <br /> seconded by Council- <br />man Ward, Council approved the recommendations of Staff <br />on the following Consent Calendar items: <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />BID CA LS <br /> <br />Approved the Minutes <br />of the regular meeting <br />of December 20, 1976. <br /> <br /> Approved plans and <br /> specifications and <br /> authorized advertise- <br />ment for bids on the following: <br /> <br />PROJECT 7054 - Cement mortar lining <br />of water pipe line in Seventeenth <br />Street from Main Street to Bristol <br />Street and Stafford Street from - <br />French Street to Santiago Street. <br /> <br />PROJECT 7106 - Paint East Reservoir <br />at 1750 South Santa Fe Street. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 17 JANUARY 17, 1977 <br /> <br /> <br />
