MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />February 7, 1977 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor John Garthe at 2:00 P.M. <br />in the City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza. The follow- <br />ing Council members were present: Gordon Bricken, David F. <br />Ortiz, Harry K. Yamamoto, Vernon S. Evans, James E. Ward, and <br />Mayor Garthe. Councilman David L. Brandt was absent. Also pre- <br />sent were the following members of Staff: City Manager Bruce C. <br />Spragg, City Attorney Keith L. Gow, Assistant City Manager <br />Ronald Wolford, Director of Public Works John Stevens, Senior <br />Planner William Daugherty, Police Chief Raymond C. Davis, and <br />Clerk of the Council Florence I. Malone. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />man Harry K. Yamamoto. <br /> <br />Following the Pledge <br />of Allegiance to the <br />Flag, the Invocation <br />was given by Council- <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />ITEMS REMOVED <br />DISSENTING VOTES <br /> <br />from the Agenda on the request of <br />registered a NO vote on Item 4A. <br /> <br /> Mayor Garthe removed <br /> Item 3 from the Consent <br /> Calendar, and Item 6A, <br /> third item, was deleted <br />Staff. Councilman Yamamoto <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR On the unanimously <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS approved 6:0 motion <br />APPROVED of Councilman Evans, <br /> seconded by Councilman <br />Ward, Council approved the recommendations of Staff on the <br />following Consent Calendar Items: <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />January <br /> <br />3, 1977. <br /> <br />Approv.ed Minutes of <br />Regular Meetings of <br />December 28, 1976 and <br /> <br />BID CALLS Approved plans and <br /> specifications and <br /> authorized advertise- <br />ment for bids on the following: <br /> <br />PROJECT 1392 Construction of east <br />half of Bear Street, north of Alton <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />PROJECT 7107 Repair one million <br />gallon elevated water tank at 14th <br />and Poinsettia Streets. <br /> <br />ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE <br />LICENSE APPLICATIONS <br /> <br />Received and filed <br />Staff report of the <br />following: <br /> <br />GREEN, Frank D.
