On the motion of Councilman Brandt, seconded by Councilman <br />Ortiz, and carried 5:1, with Councilman Ward dissenting because <br />he was not satisfied with the amount of recreation space provided, <br />the Draft Environmental Impact Report No. 76-8, all written <br />materials pertaining thereto and all verbal comments, were <br />adopted as the Final Environmental Impact Report, and it was <br />certified that it was completed in compliance with CEQA and <br />the City's rules and regulations, and that Council had <br />reviewed and considered the information contained therein. <br /> <br />On the motion of Councilman Brandt, seconded by Councilman <br />Ortiz, and unanimously carried 6:0, the following resolution <br />was adopted: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-43 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE <br />GENERAL PLAN BY REDESIGNATING 4.24 ACRES LOCATED ON THE <br />NORTHWEST CORNER OF GRAND AVENUE AND TWENTY-FIRST STREET <br />FROM PROPOSED SCHOOL SITE TO MEDIUM-DENISTY RESIDENTIAL. <br /> CA 78.3 <br /> <br />The Planning Commission Finding of Fact on Variance Application <br />No. 76-48 was approved on the unanimously carried 6:0 motion of <br />Councilman Brandt, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto. CA 13 <br /> <br />TENTATIVE TRACT MAP 9409 On the motion of Council- <br />(EIR 76-8) man Brandt, seconded by <br />APPROVED Councilman Bricken, and <br /> carried 5:1, with Council- <br />man Ward dissenting, Tentative Tract Map 9409 filed on August 3, <br />1976 by William L. Mauerhan, creating twenty Ri lots; all pro- <br />posed lots to be used for residential purposes; generally located <br />at the northwest corner of Grand Avenue and Twenty-first Street; <br />was approved, subject to conditions contained in the Planning <br />Director's Report.
