RESOLUTION 77-55 <br />PRENTICE PARK ZOO EXPANSION <br />ADOPTED <br /> <br />resolution, carried unanimously 4:0: <br /> <br />Councilman Bricken's <br />motion, seconded by <br />Councilman Ortiz, to <br />adopt the following <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-55 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING A SCOPE CHANGE FROM <br />ACQUISITION OF EDNA PARK SITE #1 TO ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY <br />FOR THE EXPANSION OF PRENTICE PARK ZOO AND REQUESTING <br />ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO APPROVE A CHANGE <br />IN APPROPRIATED MONIES FROM THE ACQUISITION OF EDNA PARK <br />TO THE ACQUISITION OF PRENTICE PARK ZOO EXPANSION. CA 52 <br /> CA 52.3 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 77-56 Council adopted the <br />VACATION - LOWE (VAN NESS) STREET following resolution <br />ADOPTED by a unanimous 4:0 <br /> vote, on the motion <br />of Councilman Ortiz, seconded by Councilman Bricken: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. ??-56 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING A MAP AND DECLARING <br />ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF THE WEST HALF OF <br />LOWE STREET (VAN NESS AVENUE) BETWEEN FIRST AND THIRD <br />STREETS IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA; DIRECTING <br />THE CLERK OF THE COUNCIL TO FILE SAID MAP IN HER OFFICE <br />DESCRIBING THE PORTION OF SAID STREET TO BE VACATED; <br />SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING THEREON; AND DIRECTING NOTICE <br />HEREOF TO BE POSTED AND PUBLISHED. CA 14 <br /> <br />PRESERVATION OF On the motion of Council- <br />SMITH-TUTHILL-LAMB BUILDING man Ortiz, seconded by <br />REFERRED Councilman Yamamoto, and <br /> carried 4:0 unanimously, <br />a letter dated May 6, 1977 from James D. Sleeper, Chairman of <br />the Santa Aha Cultural Heritage Evaluation Committee, urging <br />the preservation and utilization of the Smith-Tuthill-Lamb <br />Mortuary building at S17 North Broadway, was referred to the <br />Community Redevelopment Commission for consideration. <br /> <br />Councilman Bricken stated that he would favor efforts to preserve <br />such buildings if private citizens organizations would assume <br />the responsibility for financing and following through with the <br />project. CA 8S.lf <br /> <br />HOURLY RATES FOR COUNTY A letter dated April 14, <br />HEALTH OFFICER SERVICES 1977 was received from <br />REFERRED Robert S. Stone, Director <br /> of Environmental Health <br />for the County of Orange, transmitting a schedule of rates to <br />be paid by the City during the year beginning on July 1, 1977 <br />for services rendered in the enforcement of City ordinances; <br />the letter was referred to Staff on the unanimously approved 4:0 <br />motion of Councilman Bricken, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto. <br /> A-76-90 <br /> <br />PROPOSED CHARTER REVISIONS On the motion of Council- <br />CONTINUED man Bricken, seconded by <br /> Councilman Ortiz, and <br /> carried 4:0 unanimously, <br />a letter dated May 3, 1977 from Richard C. Grace, Chairman of <br />the Personnel Board, requesting Council to take the necessary <br />steps to implement the recommended Charter revisions, was con- <br />tinued to May 24, 1977.
