RESOLUTION 77-55 PRENTICE PARK ZOO EXPANSION ADOPTED resolution, carried unanimously 4:0: Councilman Bricken's motion, seconded by Councilman Ortiz, to adopt the following RESOLUTION NO. 77-55 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING A SCOPE CHANGE FROM ACQUISITION OF EDNA PARK SITE #1 TO ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY FOR THE EXPANSION OF PRENTICE PARK ZOO AND REQUESTING ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO APPROVE A CHANGE IN APPROPRIATED MONIES FROM THE ACQUISITION OF EDNA PARK TO THE ACQUISITION OF PRENTICE PARK ZOO EXPANSION. CA 52 CA 52.3 RESOLUTION 77-56 Council adopted the VACATION - LOWE (VAN NESS) STREET following resolution ADOPTED by a unanimous 4:0 vote, on the motion of Councilman Ortiz, seconded by Councilman Bricken: RESOLUTION NO. ??-56 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING A MAP AND DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF THE WEST HALF OF LOWE STREET (VAN NESS AVENUE) BETWEEN FIRST AND THIRD STREETS IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA; DIRECTING THE CLERK OF THE COUNCIL TO FILE SAID MAP IN HER OFFICE DESCRIBING THE PORTION OF SAID STREET TO BE VACATED; SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING THEREON; AND DIRECTING NOTICE HEREOF TO BE POSTED AND PUBLISHED. CA 14 PRESERVATION OF On the motion of Council- SMITH-TUTHILL-LAMB BUILDING man Ortiz, seconded by REFERRED Councilman Yamamoto, and carried 4:0 unanimously, a letter dated May 6, 1977 from James D. Sleeper, Chairman of the Santa Aha Cultural Heritage Evaluation Committee, urging the preservation and utilization of the Smith-Tuthill-Lamb Mortuary building at S17 North Broadway, was referred to the Community Redevelopment Commission for consideration. Councilman Bricken stated that he would favor efforts to preserve such buildings if private citizens organizations would assume the responsibility for financing and following through with the project. CA 8S.lf HOURLY RATES FOR COUNTY A letter dated April 14, HEALTH OFFICER SERVICES 1977 was received from REFERRED Robert S. Stone, Director of Environmental Health for the County of Orange, transmitting a schedule of rates to be paid by the City during the year beginning on July 1, 1977 for services rendered in the enforcement of City ordinances; the letter was referred to Staff on the unanimously approved 4:0 motion of Councilman Bricken, seconded by Councilman Yamamoto. A-76-90 PROPOSED CHARTER REVISIONS On the motion of Council- CONTINUED man Bricken, seconded by Councilman Ortiz, and carried 4:0 unanimously, a letter dated May 3, 1977 from Richard C. Grace, Chairman of the Personnel Board, requesting Council to take the necessary steps to implement the recommended Charter revisions, was con- tinued to May 24, 1977.
