RESOLUTION 77-66 - VA 77-11 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />APPEAL 3?6 2151 E. SANTA CLARA COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ADOPTED SANTA ANA REVERSING THE <br /> ACTION OF THE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION ON VARIANCE APPLICATION 77-11 AND APPROVING SAID <br />VARIANCE APPLICATION AND APPEAL NO. 3?6 was adopted S:0, on the <br />motion of Councilman Brandt, seconded by Councilman Ortiz, with <br />Councilman Bricken abstaining because he was not present for the <br />hearing of the Appeal on June 20, 1977. CA 13.3 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 77-67 - AHFP PROGRAM A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />ANNUAL REQUALIFICATION COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ADOPTED SANTA ANA TO PROVIDE <br /> ANNUAL REQUALIFICATION <br />FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM was <br />adopted by unanimous 6:0 vote, on the motion of Councilman <br />Ward, seconded by Councilman Brandt. CA 29.4a <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ?7-68 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />FLAG RAISING CEREMONY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ADOPTED SANTA ANA ENDORSING A <br /> FLAG RAISING CEREMONY TO BE <br />HELD ON JULY 4, 1977 IN FRONT OF THE OLD COUNTY COURT HOUSE BY <br />MEMBERS OF LABORERS AND HOD CARRIERS UNION LOCAL NO. 652 A.F. OF <br />L. & C.I.O. AND COMMENDING SAID UNION FOR THE PART THEY HAVE <br />PLAYED IN THE AMERICAN LABOR MOVEMENT TO ASSIST THE AMERICAN <br />WORKER was unanimously adopted 6:0, on Councilman Brandt's motion, <br />seconded by Councilman Ward. CA 73B <br /> <br />CETA TITLE VI PROJECTS Council approved funding <br />SPECIAL ONE YEAR PUBLIC SERVICE for City Projects 1 through <br />EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM - APPROVED 39, contained in the report <br /> dated June 24, 1977 pre- <br />pared by Keith Blunt, for a total amount of $1,420,527, with the <br />stipulation that a status report be provided to Council at the <br />end of 3 months, on the motion of Councilman Garthe, seconded by <br />Councilman Brandt, and carried 4:2, with Councilmen Ortiz and <br />Bricken dissenting, and authorized execution of the agreements <br />by Mayor and Clerk. <br /> <br />Council approved Project No. 57, Opportunities Industrialization <br />Center: Small Business Training, estimated CETA cost $54,275, <br />with the stipulation that a status report be provided to Council <br />at the end of 3 months, on motion of Councilman Ward,.seconded <br />by Councilman Garthe, and carried 4:2, with Councilmen Brandt <br />and Ortiz dissenting. <br /> <br />Council approved Project No. 58, Community Development Council: <br />Community Improvement Project, estimated CETA cost $90,369, <br />with the stipulation that a status report be provided to Council <br />at the end of 3 months, on the motion of Councilman Ward, seconded <br />by Councilman Garthe, and carried unanimously 6:0. <br /> <br />Council approved Project No. S9, Operation SER: Transportation, <br />estimated CBTA cost $56,832, with the stipulation that a status <br />report be provided to Council at the end of 3 months, on motion <br />of Councilman Ward, seconded by Councilman Garthe, and carried <br />4:2, with Mayor Evans and Councilman Ortiz dissenting.
