L. Lewter, Ernest Norton, Sadie <br />Reid, Phitlip Robertson, Charles Terry. <br /> <br />Mayor Evans also recognized the following members who served on <br />the Committee and were unable to be present: Lucy Diaz, Harold <br />Jenkins, Richard Neill and Jean La Londe. The Council meeting <br />reconvened at 8:10 P.M. with all members present. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING Mayor Evans announced that <br />RESCUE MISSION RELOCATION Mrs. Lydia Morales, repre- <br /> senting the Santa Nita Neigh- <br /> bors, 601 N. Figueroa, had <br />requested discussion of the proposed relocation of the Rescue Mis- <br />sion from 214 North Sycamore to the Carpenters Union Hall, West <br />Fifth Street near Harbor Boulevard, in the Santa Anita Community. <br /> <br />The Executive Director of Community Redevelopment, Richard Goblirsch, <br />reported that negotiations on behalf of the Community Redevelopment <br />Agency to purchase the Sycamore property in order to sell it to <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />258 JULY 18, 1977 <br /> <br /> <br />
