CA 158 <br /> <br />CITY OF ANAHEIM RESOLUTIONS Resolution No. 77R-424 <br />NO. ??R-424 & ??R-425 of the City of Anaheim <br />REFERRED - RECEIVED & FILED urging Orange County <br /> cities to support the <br />enactment of State legislation that would require proof of finan- <br />cial responsibility prior to the issuance of a driver's license <br />was endorsed and referred to Staff to prepare a similar resolu- <br />tion for adoption by the Orange County League of Cities, on the <br />unanimously approved motion 7:0 of Councilman Bricken, seconded <br />by Councilman Brandt. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 77R-425 of the City of Anaheim requesting Orange <br />County cities to adopt resolutions urging the Department of Motor <br />Vehicles to strictly enforce the provisions of the California <br />Vehicle Code Section 12-805 (F) requiring that the Department <br />refuse a driver's license to any person who is unable to read <br />the simple English used in highway traffic and directional signs, <br />was received and filed on the unanimously approved 7:0 motion of <br />Councilman Bricken, seconded by Councilman Ward.
