<br />. <br /> <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD JOINTLY <br />BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE COMMUNITY REDE- <br />VELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />ON A PROPOSED SALE OF REAL PROPERTY IN THE <br />SANTA ANA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana (the "City Council") and the Community Redevelopment Agency of the <br />City of Santa Ana (the "Agency") will jointly hold a public hearing on <br />March 20, 1984, at the hour of 5:30 P.M., in the City Council Chambers, <br />22 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California 92701, pursuant to the <br />California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code, Section <br />33000 et seq.) on a proposed sale of real property in the Santa Ana <br />Redevelopment Project by the Agency to Grand Plaza Development Company <br />(the "participant") for the development of a three-story, 180-room <br />hotel and 7,000 square foot restaurant. <br /> <br />Such real property is generally described as follows: <br /> <br />The northwest corner of Grand Avenue and Dyer Road, and more commonly <br />described as 2726 South Grand Avenue. <br /> <br />The proposed sale shall be pursuant to a proposed Participation <br />4IÞ Agreement between the Agency and the Participant. <br /> <br />The Agency staff and the Agency's consultants have prepared a <br />summary and report which sets forth: all of the Agency's costs to be <br />incurred under the proposed Agreement; the estimated value of the <br />property to be sold to the Participant pursuant to the proposed Agree- <br />ment; and other economic analysis pertaining to such proposed Agree- <br />ment. A copy of such summary and report (together with a copy of the <br />proposed Agreement, and a copy of the recommendations of the Agency <br />staff and the Agency consultants) shall be available for public inspec- <br />tion in the office of the Agency, 20 Civic Center Plaza, Room 628, <br />Santa Ana, California 92701, during the regular office hours of 8:00 <br />A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. <br /> <br />A Final Environmental Impact Report to the Santa Ana Redevelop- <br />ment Project has previously been prepared and certified as required <br />law. The Agency staff has also completed a Negative Declaration study <br />to determine whether approval of the Agreement will result in any <br />substantial change in the environmental impacts considered in the <br />Project EIR. Both the Project EIR and the Negative Declaration are <br />available for public inspection in the office of the Redevelopment <br />~AgenCy during the aforementioned hours. <br /> <br />At any time before the date and time set forth in this notice for <br />the public hearings to be jointly held by the Agency and the City <br />Council, any written comments on or objections to the proposed Agree- <br />ment, the recommendations to such proposed Agreement or to the pro- <br />posed sale may be filed with the City Clerk.
