MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />December 12, 1977 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Vernon S. Evans in the <br />City Council Chambers, 22 Civic Center Plaza, at 2:00 P.M. The <br />following Council members were present: David F. Ortiz, Harry <br />K. Yamamoto, David L. Brandt, James E. Ward, John Garthe, and <br />Mayor Evans. Councilman Gordon Bricken arrived at 2:22 P.M. <br />Also present were the following Staff members: City Manager <br />Bruce C. Spragg, City Attorney Keith L. Gow, Assistant City Mana- <br />ger Ronald Wolford, Director of Public Works John Stevens, <br />Planning Director Charles C. Zimmerman, and Clerk of the Council <br />Florence I. Malone. <br /> <br />INVOCATION <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Following the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag, <br />the Invocation was given <br />by Councilman Ortiz. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR Councilman Yamamoto <br />ITEMS REMOVED OR CORRECTED requested removal of <br />& DISSENTING VOTES Item 5 C from the Con- <br /> sent Calendar; Item 2 A <br />was removed by the request of Mayor Evans; Items 5 G, $ H, S L <br />were removed by Councilman Ward for consideration following <br />Item 62 (Preliminary Condominium Conversion Study Report). <br />Mayor Evans corrected Item 4 F to remove the Planning Protest <br />erroneously included on the Agenda. <br /> <br />Dissenting votes were registered by Councilman Ward on Items 2G, <br />4 C and 5 K. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR On the unanimously <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS approved 6:0 motion of <br />APPROVED Councilman Ward, seconded <br /> by Councilman Garthe, <br />Council approved the recommendations of Staff on the following <br />Consent Calendar Items: <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Regular Meetings <br />ber 5, 1977. <br /> <br /> Approved the Minutes of the <br /> Adjourned Regular Meeting of <br /> November 11, 1977 and the <br />of November 21, No~ember 29, and Decem- <br /> <br />BID CALLS <br />following: <br /> <br />Approved plans and specifica- <br />tions, and authorized adver- <br />tisement for bids on the <br /> <br />SPEC 77-089 - Diesel-fueled air compressor. <br /> <br />SPEC 77-090 - Self-propelled concrete saw. <br /> <br />SPEC 77-091 - Rotary mower and vacuum. <br /> <br />SPEC 77-092 - Street sweeper maintenance. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />433 <br /> <br />DECEMBER 12, 1977 <br /> <br /> <br />
