Councilman Brandt noted that the excessive <br />numbers of undocumented workers in this area stems from a Federal <br />policy over which the City has no control. Planning Director Charles Zimmerman announced that the <br />Ordinance received no opposition at the Planning Commission hear- <br />ing held November 14, 1977; and that it was approved on a 4:3 <br />vote of the Commission. <br /> <br />Mayor Evans called for speakers on the Ordinance; there was <br />one response. <br /> <br />Lee Ogorek, 2202 North Pacific, thanked the Council for proposing <br />this Ordinance.
