Mr. Termohlen continued by stating <br />that he has been in Santa Ana since 1960 and a licensed architect <br />since 1971; that he has been looking at the site for many years; <br />and that it is an appropriate one for this high rise development; <br />that it is a 5.72 acre site with condominium units to be fully <br />guarded, for adults only; that the project will be extensively <br />landscaped, with a Japanese garden as well as a swimming pool, <br />and a fully equipped health studio. He further stated that he <br />would donate $200,000 to the City for the development of Santiago <br />Park, and concluded by saying that he is proud of the project <br />and intends to live in it himself. <br /> <br />City Manager Bruce Spragg informed Council that a meeting had <br />been held with 140 of the residents of the northern area of <br />Santa Ana who would be impacted by the proposed development, <br />and they had been informed that the matter would be discussed by <br />Council at the evening meeting.
