Bril, to <br /> <br /> On the motion of Councilman <br /> Brandt, seconded by Council- <br /> man Ortiz, carried 6:0 <br /> unanimously, the status <br /> prepared by Director of Building <br />report the progress of the noise <br /> <br />studies and the negotiations between the residents and the <br />representatives of the Post Office, was received and filed. The <br />report lists nine different suggestions made for solution of <br />the problem. The participants of the meetings are evaluating <br />the suggested steps for feasibility of implementation, and <br />were requested, by copy of the report, to provide information <br />to the Director of Building Safety within 30 days regarding <br />their evaluation of the proposed solutions. CA 94 <br /> <br />The report includes a map showing the eight proposed annexations, <br />a flow chart specifying the County island annexation process <br />under the provisions of the Municipal Organization Act, 1977 and <br />a Schedule of Annexations showing the proposed sequence of <br />annexations and the procedure schedule for seven of the eight <br />annexations proposed. <br /> <br />RESPONSE TO ARTESIA NEIGHBORS A report dated March 9, <br />EL MONTEREY BAR, 2026 W. STH 1978 prepared by Sergeant <br />FILED O.L. Drummond of the <br /> Police Department, entitled <br />Police Response to Demands by Artesia Neighbors, was received <br />and filed on the motion of Councilman Ortiz, seconded by Council- <br />man Brandt, and carried 6:0 unanimously. <br /> <br />The report reviews the modified restrictions placed on the <br />dance permit for the E1 Monterey Bar at 2026 West Fifth Street, <br />describes the additional enforcement measures being taken by <br />the Police Department, and states that Area A Supervisors have <br />been instructed to maintain daily logs documenting activity <br />to be filed with the Area A Commander.
