CA 65.3 <br /> CA 89 <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT 116 The recommendation of <br />NIGHTTIME ACCIDENT STUDY Traffic Engineer Joe E. <br />CONTINUED TO MARCH 20 Foust dated February 28, <br /> 1978 to approve an <br />Appropriation Adjustment to utilize $52,850 from the State of <br />California Office of Traffic Safety to conduct a nighttime traf- <br />fic accident study, and authorization to recruit an Associate <br />Engineer (Traffic) and a Traffic Technician for one year to <br />conduct the study, was continued to March 20, 1978 on the <br />motion of Councilman Ward, seconded by Councilman Brandt, and <br />carried 5:1, with Councilman Garthe dissenting. The motion <br />to continue was substituted for a motion to approve the study <br />made by Councilman Brandt, seconded by Councilman Garthe. <br /> CA 65.3 <br /> <br />APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT 119 The transfer of $9,000 <br />AUTOS FOR BUILDING DEPT. from Salaries and Wages <br />APPROVED account accrued due to <br /> unfilled positions in the <br />Building Safety Department for the current year, to Machinery <br />and Equipment, for the purchase of automobiles for the new <br />Plumbing Inspector and Building Conservation Inspector positions <br />authorized effective January 1, 1978, was approved on the <br />motion of Councilman Garthe, seconded by Councilman Ward, and <br />carried 6:1, with Councilman Yamamoto dissenting.
